Overview

Golf is an individual sport in which the object is to get a golf ball from point A (the tee off box) to point B (the hole). Most golf courses consist of 9 or 18 holes with the most important being the "19th hole" which is the bar in the club house. It should be noted that the term "hole" refers to both the actual hole in the ground into which the ball is played, and the whole area from the tee off box (an area of specially prepared grass from where a ball is first hit) to the putting green (the area around the actual hole in the ground).
