Where the quote has been found in a publication this is referenced unless the quote is widely published in many sources, particularly within the Internet.
Unfortunately for many quotes their original source appears to have been unrecorded in many publications and URLs or they have been plagarised, misquoted or exist unreferenced. The Open Site Encyclopedia apologises for listing any quotations that do not note either the original creator or its original source (where this is known).
